👋 Hi friends, especially to all of our newer followers! We’re the Zodrows. I’m Andrea, my husband Vince is my partner in life and business, and our son Zach keeps us laughing every day ❤️ We’re proud Concord locals and the faces behind Sign Gypsies East Bay. Our journey started during the pandemic when we surprised my dad with a sign for his 80th birthday. The joy it brought to him (and honestly, our whole family) sparked something in us. ✨

In May of 2022, we took a leap and purchased this already-bustling East Bay location, and here we are years later, still going strong and absolutely loving it! We feel so lucky to help our community celebrate life’s biggest (and smallest!) moments with signs that spread joy and smiles. 🥳 Thank you for letting us be part of your milestones — we can’t wait to keep celebrating with you!

Unfortunately, no, you don’t get to keep it. We are a rental service.

Yes, our signs are waterproof! We will even set up in the rain, as long as there is NO lighting! Occassionally, severe weather will prevent us from setting up entirely or leaving your sign up. We are unable to set up or leave signs up during high winds, as the signs can become an injury or damage hazard if blown over or blown off stakes. In the event we have to cancel or change the timing of your greeting, you will be notified in advance.

Signs are typically set up the evening before your event, but may be set up the night before or the morning of the event. We can not always provide a specific time for arrival, as we place & pick up signs based on the locations of deliveries for that date. We will contact you the day before the event with more delivery information once our route has been set up. If you have a specific time that a sign needs to be installed, please indicate your request on the order form and we will do our best to try to accommodate you. A picture will be texted to you once the installer has set up the sign at the requested location.

No! You simply place the order with us, pay your invoice, and we handle the rest! You are free to let us know your preference for yard placement, but we try to place our signs in a highly visible area. We will text you with an ETA when we are on our way, then we will text you a photo of the finished product when we leave!

Signs are typically rented for ~24 hours, but may be longer or shorter based on delivery time. We do offer additional days if you’d like to keep the sign for an extended period of time (based on availability).

We do offer indoor setups! Indoor setups are great for fundraisers, events, concerts, photo booths, etc. Visit our booking page for information on indoor setups. We will provide pricing for indoor greetings once we have received your request.

Yes-If we have the availability and the inventory we can do next day orders. Please be sure to indicate the rush order when you submit your order form.

Unfortunately, no. Our franchise agreement requires that signs must be set up by trained Sign Gypsies for safety purposes. This also ensures you receive the best greeting possible & will be a true reflection of our brand standards. Take downs must be handled in the same manner to avoid damage to the signs. We thank you for your understanding!
